Meet the Team

Drew S. Ruderman, p.E.

Drew S. Ruderman, P.E. is a Colorado registered Professional Engineer and owner of Black Canyon Engineers. Mr. Ruderman graduated from Montana State University.

Since graduating, his professional career of over 10 years has included work in the Alaskan Oil & Gas field as well as in manufacturing while previously living in Montana. This diverse background across various climates and domains has given him a practical and yet savvy approach to real world problems.

Craig Reisbeck, P.E.

Licensed Professional Engineer, Mechanical Discipline
Experienced in Residential and Commercial HVAC Design and Plumbing
Experienced in Process Engineering with over 30 years of experience in the food processing industry for USDA and FDA regulated facilities including positions as Project Engineer, Maintenance Engineer and Plant Engineer

Drafting Experience incudes Revit for 3D and BIM modeling as well as AtuoCad for basic 2D drafting.

Education: BS, Agricultural Engineering, Oklahoma State University

MS, Agricultural Engineering, Oklahoma State University

Currently licensed in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania

David Preston

David Preston, a proud Colorado resident for over two decades, contributes his drafting skills to Black Canyon Engineers. Beyond the drafting board, he finds joy in woodwork and cherishing moments with his family.

Shawnie Ludivig

Shawnie Ludivig, the office assistant at Black Canyon Engineers, is a Colorado native who finds joy in gardening and ATV adventures. As an integral part of the team, Shawnie ensures the office runs smoothly, reflecting the company’s commitment to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Bo Hodgman

Bo Hodgman is the Project Manager for Black Canyon Engineers with over 10 years of experience in leadership, engineering and customer satisfaction. He lived in Salt Lake City UT most of his childhood and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and passed the FE exam. Bo is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and experience to encourage others to work hard and succeed. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, working on cars, collecting Lego and watching movies.

Wyatt Thaute

Wyatt Thaute, a native of Montrose and an engineer at Black Canyon Engineers, is a proud graduate of Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. With a passion for hunting, fishing, and quality time with family and friends, Wyatt brings a dynamic energy to the team, embodying the spirit of his Montrose roots.
